Another gift guide for you guys; this one is aimed at 5 year olds. 5 year olds can be tricky sometimes, they think they know what they want but really they don’t have a clue and change their minds every five minutes. These gifts are perfect for those children who can’t make their mind up!
Tobbie The Robot
.Whats better than a toy that your child learns from. Tobbie the robot is a STEAM project and has to be built before you get the chance to play with him. He has 2 modes, ‘follow me’ and ‘explore’; he stands approximately 16cm tall and uses an infrared sensor to find his way around. You can pick Tobbie up from Menkind for £29.99; but if you follow Menkind on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook then you will be able to see their upcoming offers and promotions!
Plus Plus Blocks
You might have seen Plus Plus appear in our 3 year old gifts blog post. Plus plus are an all rounder and perfect for children of all ages; their shape is unique and I’ve never seen building blocks like this. They are really interesting to build with, even I have been sucked in and find myself sitting on the floor building with the boys for over an hour! The kit does come with a little intrusion booklet like Lego does but the limit is your imagination!
Give Plus plus a follow and keep up to date with their new kits on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
Lego
Lego is a firm favourite everywhere isn’t it, you can’t go wrong with a Lego set either way. Personally I love Lego, I love building the kits with Leo and as he’s growing older I get to buy harder kits for us both to complete. Lego have been a favourite for generations and it isn’t set to stop that anytime soon.
Did you know that Funky Pigeon can send a Lego set with your personalised card? I didn’t; I thought it was just cards, chocolate and teddies etc. So if you are looking for that last minute gift then Funky Pigeon are a good shout with their ever expanding range of gifts suitable for everyone!
Follow them on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to stay up to date with discounts and promotions!
Personalised Scrapbook
This is another item that has also been included in our gifts for 3 year olds blog post. A personalised scrapbook is a gift for any age; from babies to grandparents, you can’t go wrong. Pink Pig have some lovely scrapbooks, notebooks, sketchbooks available and can also be easily personalised.
The paper quality in these books is amazing and I can see that the boys are going to have a great time filling them! Be sure to follow Pink Pig on their Instagram, Facebook and Twitter to keep up to date with special offers!
Personalised Star Print
How beautiful is this print? This print is hung proudly in my living room because it means a lot to me. The stars on this print are the constellations that were in the sky the moment Leo was born. I am a really sentimental person and adore anything personalised.
I was going to hang the prints in the boys bedrooms but I wanted people to be able to see them so the front room it was! The prints are from Posterhaste and they have lots of different designs and prints to choose from; we have another different print that we will be showing in our gifts for mummy roundup so keep an eye out for that!
Make sure you follow Posterhaste on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to keep up with their current promotions and bag a deal.
Books
Here are two books that should be read to every child. These books talk about plastic waste in words children can understand and a story of which children become interested. These books would prove very beneficial in nurseries and schools; plastic waste is a problem that isn’t going to go away on its own so we need to give the children the knowledge on how to deal with it. Don’t you agree?
You can follow the progress and grab your own copies of these books from Wild Tribe Heroes on their website, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
Vlog
Roundups on YouTube are fab aren’t, no reading involved, just watching. So here’s our roundup in vlog form!
