If you follow me on either Instagram, Twitter or my Facebook page then you would have found out last week that we expecting #3! A pregnancy announcement is great to see and I love looking at them, so ours took a few takes to get right!
The first thing you think of is ‘how will announce this?’ And it took me a good while to think about the best way of announcing. Here is our photo if you haven’t already seen it.

So far there is Leo born October 2013, then out pops Mylo in October 2015 and now we have our third little bundle due November 2017! I never initially planned to have small age gaps between my children but now I can’t think of anything better! Yes it is very hard work at times (imagine toilet training a toddler whilst your 2 week old is on the boob); yes, it can get exhausting. Throw in university and my blog too amongst a lot of other things and I was a very very busy lady!
I understand that a third baby doesn’t bring much on the ecstatic side because you’ve already been there and done it twice already, but it is special for us every single time isn’t it.
I have already had comments such as “you need a TV” to which I’ve replied.. “we have one but it isn’t as fun or satisfying”. 1-0 to me right? Do people just assume that anything over 2 children is an accident? I have always known that I wanted a big family as that is what makes me happy. We love the hustle and bustle; and the fact my children form meaningful relationships with each other. I can’t pry Leo and Mylo away from each other these days, where one goes the other follows!
There is also one more thing I wanted to mention. You already know that I have two boys so everyone automatically assumes that I want a little girl. Yes it would be lovely to buy cute dresses and flowery headbands but I would be equally as happy with another boy! I guess it’s just a waiting game for now until we find out the sex but I can already imagine tinges of disappointment coming from certain people if we are expecting another boy,
It has seriously taken me ages to consider this post and I ended up deciding to do a youtube pregnancy announcement video too; which we are super happy with! It’s only a few minutes long so go ahead and give it a quick view. If you really like it make sure to leave me a comment and like too!

Aww congratulations! Love your announcement – such a clever idea!
