Having a new baby always brings joy, and quite often brings people together. This is our third baby and we were just as excited this time with Nico as we were with Leo and Mylo. The last month of pregnancy feels like it lasts forever. So I couldn’t wait for this little one to make an appearance because I was crippled with SPD, immense acid reflux, anaemia.. you name it, I had it.
Nico ended up coming 3 days early which was a turn up for the books considering Leo and Mylo were both late. Nico weighed a healthy 7lb 3oz and was born at 9:12am, a little Sunday baby like me. We had to stay in a couple of days for observation but then we were off home! Nico was born with a tongue tie like Leo and we have also discovered that he has reflux and food allergies like Mylo. Nico has a middle name white ch is Roree and he is a super happy baby!
How he’s fit into our family
Leo and Mylo loved him from first sight, although Mylo was a bit cautious which was to be expected. When me and Nico we’re finally given the all clear to go home we were out of the hospital like a shot. Leo runs around getting anything that I need for Nico and it is adorable; he can’t do enough to help. Mylo has needed a lot more reassurance than Leo but he’s taken the roll of big brother in his stride to be honest. It definitely is a lot easier to go from two children to three than it is to go from one to two. It really is true what people say, anymore than 2 and you don’t really notice the difference; you are already running around after two little ones so one more doesn’t make a difference.
