Welcome to our community on Instagram! I love Instagram and I love seeing all of your photos in the roundup!
The #rawchildhood community on Instagram is for you to link up any child related photos!
We now have 6.7k link ups!
I am looking for those raw childhood moments; with or without filters; children enjoying the rain and mud; exploring with food and colours.. I am also looking for those raw moments when you think “should I really post this?” YES! post that picture of your child on the floor in Tesco because you wouldn’t buy a surprise egg or when your child is pulling the death stare.. I love those photos! It’s your child’s personality, let’s celebrate it!
I guess what I am trying to say is let’s get back to basics. The raw childhood!
Let’s all try to be a great little community! Follow each other, make friends and share! #rawchildhood
I will be picking my favourite posts for the month and doing my roundup; these will then get shared across my social media accounts!
Here are my favourites from last month which was February 2018:
Dress kids like they are kids
How stinking cute is that hoody though?! Those ears are just adorable! Too many parents try to dress their children like adults, what’s wrong with a hoody with ears on? I would rock that myself, never mind the boys!
Warm snow is a must
I wish the snow was warm too! My hands freeze so quickly when we go out in the snow. Mylo hates the cold like daddy, whereas me and Leo go out in all weathers!
I couldn’t not include this one in my roundup, how adorable is this photo though! This is definitely a frame worthy photo, I would put it pride of place in my house!
First time in a sled
This was their first go in a sled, and you can 100% see and feel their excitement through the photo. Aren’t they just so happy!
Here’s a raw childhood moment for you, nose picking! Mylo always has his finger up his nostrils, I often wonder whether he’s going to lose a finger up there one day. But let’s face it, we’ve all picked our noses!
boys and tutus
I love this photo so much, and she’s right isn’t she. Why can’t a little boy wear a tutu, I mean, come on.. they are beautiful! You wear whatever you want.. as long as it actually involves clothing, save the naked for the house. I think he suits the tutu anyway, you go fight that world and all of its stereotyping!
Playing with dolls
I often see photos like this dotted about online and read the comments. There are some horrible people out there that wouldn’t dream of giving their little boy a doll to play with. Why? You scared he might become a better parent than you? Looking after babies is what most of us do at some point in our lives, so why not have some role play? I love it anyway and I think he’s doing very well with a set of twins!
I am so sick of seeing photos like this beauty being taken down because some people haven’t got the mindset that boobs are there for feeding babies. I adore this photo, I honestly couldn’t give it any more love.. well, I could.. I’ll post my own breastfeeding photo in support!
I would love for you to join my community and help it grow even more!
Let’s celebrate our children whilst they are still children!
I will see you all again next month.
