Welcome to our community on Instagram! I love Instagram and I love seeing all of your photos in the roundup!
The #rawchildhood community on Instagram is for you to link up any child related photos!
We now have nearly 2k link ups!
I am looking for those raw childhood moments; with or without filters; children enjoying the rain and mud; exploring with food and colours.. I am also looking for those raw moments when you think “should I really post this?” YES! post that picture of your child on the floor in Tesco because you wouldn’t buy a surprise egg or when your child is pulling the death stare.. I love those photos! It’s your child’s personality, let’s celebrate it!
I guess what I am trying to say is let’s get back to basics. The raw childhood!
Let’s all try to be a great little community! Follow each other, make friends and share! #rawchildhood
I will be picking my favourite posts for the month and doing my roundup; these will then get shared across my social media accounts!
Here are my favourites from last month:
“What’s for dinner?”
I love this one by @fivelittlestars05 it just shows how messy our children really get at meal times! It’s all good posting a photo of your child sat nicely at the table but we all know what really happens behind the scenes! 😉
Feeding the baby
This one by @Victoria1746 is just lovely. Look at the caring look in her face, it is just adorable!
How parenting quickly fails
This one by @_mom_2_boys_ just reminded me of the time Leo was obsessed with dinosaurs so what better than taking him to the Chester Zoo Jurassic Park exhibit? He cried near enough the whole way round because he thought the dinosaurs were going to eat him. This photo shows how things quickly escalate, but shows parenthood perfectly!
Splashing in the rain
I have to admit that playing in the rain are one of my favourite kind of photos! They are my weak spot for sure. This one by @Oh_Maxwell is just a gorgeous shot (as always) and captures the moment perfectly.
Time for a tea party
What is better than a tea party with your little ones? They love it, we can sneakily incorporate a proper brew into the mix and everyone gets what they want, right? Beautiful picture from @maggiedearphoto.
Doesn’t this photo just melt your heart! You can feel the affection from this photo through your laptop can’t you, I know I can. This photo is by @poppetandpumpkin and I personally think it’s a fantastic shot and one to treasure!
The washing can wait!
This post by @fivelittlestars05 is their second feature for this month. I couldn’t leave it out because it just relates to us all. We all have chores to do and adult stuff to worry about but that can all wait for a cuddle. It’s important to remember that we won’t get this time back but the washing can wait.
Mummies need facepaint too!
I really like this one by @ethannevelyn. I have to say that I am exactly the same when it comes to face paint, I have to get mine done too! Plus the children love seeing their parents enjoying the things that they enjoy. It’s just lovely!
I would love for you to join my community and help it grow even more!
Let’s celebrate our children whilst they are still children!
I will see you all again next month.
